Having been a Family Life Educator for over 20 years, I am passionate about empowering families with knowledge to help prepare couples for their parenting journey.  With education and support, parents can help prevent the risk of developing depression and anxiety associated with pregnancy and birth. Families can proactively participate in this interactive and informative class focusing on strengthening the resilience of parents-to-be.

Postpartum Wellness and Support

This one-time class promotes whole person well-being and sets up new parents for postpartum success. We highlight information about postpartum depression and anxiety, focus on fundamental self-care strategies and prevention, as well as what couples need to know before a baby arrives to provide a strong foundation into parenthood. We discuss risk factors, symptoms and support. This class, designed for pregnant persons and their partners, helps expectant parents decrease anxiety and depression while finding more joy.
